The Old Iron Inn Photo Album

Below are some more pictures of the Inn. Though they may take awhile to load, we think that they are worth the wait. We're very proud of the Inn and we are certain that you will enjoy your stay. As you peruse the pictures please remember that each guest room is individually showcased on our Rooms Page which includes prices and amenities for each room.

Here is the living room. Great conversation, board games and a monthly music night are among the many activities that take place in this warm and inviting room.

Here is the Inn during the winter months.

The enclosed front porch. The porch's beautiful wicker furniture is perfect for sitting in to read or to write a letter or to just relax.

Kate and Kevin's lending library is jam packed with everything from Mystery to Biography, Sci-Fi to Non-Fiction Essays. There's sure to be something here you'll enjoy!

Here is just a sampling of the many irons and trivets you'll find throughout the Old Iron Inn. Kevin will be happy to discuss the origin, various uses and history of any of these wonderful tools.

Here's the private bath area in the Amoeba Room.

Here's the shared bath area of the Lincoln Room and the Rose Room.

Here's the second bed in the Old Iron Room. An 1840s era rope bed that we found on a trip to Stonington, ME.

This is the Lincoln Room.

This antique bust (dated 1919) and these nineteenth century books on Lincoln are located just outside of the Lincoln Room.

Here's a small sampling of some of the Lincoln memorabelia that you'll find during your stay in the Lincoln Room.

Our backyard sitting area in the fall. Great for reading books, talking or taking photos!

Here's the placard that announces our selection by the Caribou Garden Club as the Commercial Landscape Beautification Award winners! We are very proud of our garden and are certain that you'll enjoy it, too.

Here is the Dining Room where Kate's wonderful breakfasts are enjoyed daily.

Lastly, this is Kevin enjoying the afternoon sun on his antique bicycle.
