The Old Iron Inn B & B Cookbook
Cooking with Kate

This cookbook started as a Christmas present for my sister, Laura, in 1995. With much encouragement from my husband, Kevin, I have now expanded it and made it available for others to enjoy, too. I've included many of the recipes that people ask for time and time again, plus some favorites contributed by my friends and family.

I've organized this little home-produced effort into different chapters for various types of foods, plus am including a chapter on hints for serving large groups, with sample menus. Enjoy!

"The Old Iron Inn B & B Cookbook" sells for $12 and can be ordered by contacting Kate at the Inn either by e-mail, phone or post.

This cookbook, "Cooking with Kate", is my most recent effort. It contains dozens of new recipes and several essays on the many-faceted and always interesting life of being an Innkeeper at the Old Iron Inn B & B.

"Cooking With Kate" sells for $10 and can be ordered by contacting Kate at the Inn, either by e-mail, phone or post.

Antique Irons at the Old Iron Inn

This book is written to serve as a simple guide to the collecting of antique pressing/smoothing irons, including about 100 pictures of irons from the Old Iron Inn collection, which is displayed at the Old Iron Inn Bed and Breakfast in Caribou, Aroostook County, Maine. The book has 32 pages, with chapters on all the basic iron categories with advice to the novice iron collector. A good read. To order your copy, please contact Kate or Kevin via e-mail, phone or post.
