Each morning a freshly cooked-to-order breakfast is prepared and served on beautiful Polish pottery in the elegant dining room. A wide variety of traditional breakfast foods is prepared and Kate is happy to accommodate all dietary restrictions and requests. Locally sourced eggs and fruits and vegetables are used whenever possible. The jam is always homemade and Kate is the muffin queen! Remember, b&b stands for bed AND breakfast.
In business since 1992, the Old Iron Inn offers a European-style historic b&b experience to travelers from all over the world. One step in the front door will explain its unique name! The best way to book a room is to call us directly. Most travelers are not aware of how expensive booking sites are. Each reservation made through a third party web site costs us 17% of the room charge, per night. We recommend using those sites as research tools, then making the reservation either directly through our website or calling us personally. It will save you money, because we are forced to charge more for the added fees, and just may help you make sure you are not accidentally making a mistake.
Please reach us at kateandkevin@oldironinn.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Check-in time is any time after 3:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 AM.
Yes, a delicious homemade breakfast is included in the room rate.
Late check-out is subject to availability. Thank you for asking.
We are happy to provide you with a "breakfast in a bag" to go. Just let us know ahead of time and we'll pack you a nutritious and filling cold breakfast to go and will put it in your fridge the night before you check out.
If you booked through a third party booking site and didn't include your real email, you were assigned one by the site (ie, bookingguest123@booking.com) and the confirmation was automatically sent there. Use your real email when booking, or better yet, just call us directly.
